PLEASE NOTE: The enjoyment and safety of our passengers and crew are of the utmost importance. Departure is left to the sole discretion of the captain; depending on vessel, equipment, water and weather conditions. Please call for details pertaining to canceling and re-scheduling cruises. It is very important that you read below:

FISHING TRIP FEATURES, RULES & TIPS
(PLEASE read them, understand them, and abide by them.)



  • The Miss Megan is 100% drug free. If at any time illegal drugs are found aboard the trip is canceled (NO REFUND) the proper authorities are notified and you are barred from future trips. Our captains and crew are 100% drug free.
  • Alcohol consumption is at the discretion of the captain. We reserve the right to cancel any trip due to excessive consumption. We ask you bring no more than 6 cans of beer (no hard liquor) per person. Our policy states that captain and crew will not consume alcohol at any time while on the vessel or town docks.
  • Passengers agree to board the Miss Megan II at there own risk and further agree to hold harmless the owners, captains, and crew, in the event of personal harm or damage to personal property. Passengers further agree to follow instructions or orders from captains or crew.
  • Fishing trips and cruises leave from Wells Harbor. There is plenty of FREE parking near the end of the Harbor Road. We ask that you unload at the pier and then move your vehicle to the dirt lot on the right after the restaurant.
  • Your deposit must be received with 10 days of your booking. We will not hold your reservations without a deposit. We ask that the balance of the cost for your fishing trip or cruise is paid in cash.
  • Cancelations MUST be made 7 days prior to you trip. Refund of deposits after that will depend on our ability to fill your empty booking.
  • Please inquire about fuel surcharges that may apply to your charter or cruise. We reserve the right to make rate or surcharge changes at any time.
  • These are privately chartered fishing trips or cruises for your family, friends or group, with the exception of open boat trips.
  • There is a Maximum of Six Passengers on any Fishing Trip or Cruise aboard the Miss Megan II. There are absolutely no exceptions.
  • All fishing gear, fishing licenses, and bait are included.
  • Gratuities are accepted for fish filleting, and extemporary service (10% to 15% is norm)
  • Preparation of your catch is included. Please provide coolers for your ride home.
  • Passengers are encouraged to bring proper sun protection, food and drinks.
  • Remember, wear proper shoe apparel since the deck can be wet and can be slippery. It is recommended that you dress in layers.
  • You may take medications to help prevent sea-sickness, if you are so inclined, and if your doctor so approves. Of course, you should consult your doctor to determine whether or not you may take medication. We are unable to provide any kind of medications to passengers.
  • When a Blue Fin of commercial harvest size is landed the vessel retains the fish. We will offer 10% of the market price to the guests or credit for a future trip (the higher amount is usually the case). This must be discussed at booking.
  • Departure is up to the sole discretion of the Captain, depending on vessel, equipment, water & weather conditions. Please call the evening before your trip for details pertaining to canceling and rescheduling cruises.
  • The captains and crew aboard the Miss Megan II is not responsible for any damages to personal property brought on board.
  • End a great day of fishing by cruising the Gulf of Maine and enjoying the sights of whales, porpoise and seal, etc. The enjoyment and safety of our passengers and crew is of the utmost importance.
